Choi Xooang, Détail d’une installation, 2010
Huile sur résine
Courtesy Galerie Albert Benamou, Paris

These fragile and chilling polymer clay figures are created by the artist Choi Xooang and there are nothing short of impressive. It is hard to even find a reliable source of information on more information about his work, or even the correct spelling of his name. However it seems that Choi Xooang is trying to draw attention to human rights abuses in Korea. These morbid figures sculpted into different parts of the human body to create a figure as a whole, are very powerful at proving I attention to the problem.
