Drew Friedman’s Old Jewish Comedians

A couple months ago I visited the Society of Illustrators in New York City. The exhibit consisted of illustrations of Old jewish Comedians by artist Drew Friedman. It was an interesting experience that I enjoyed greatly. I went with my illustration class and professor. He said we were going to have an all you can eat buffet. I was expecting sandwiches or something simple but to my surprise, the museum has a beautiful one room restaurant upstairs. There was a table with food set out consisting of steak, chicken, fresh vegetables rice and potatoes. The food was great and I was pleasantly surprised. Besides being impressed with the food, the exhibit its self was impressive as well. There was so much detail in the faces and I liked the suggestive exaggeration about each one. Here are a couple of pictures I snapped on my phone during my experience. I hope you enjoy!
